Travis Bakke

CAMBRIDGE, MN- Travis Bakke, 38 of Cambridge died on Tuesday, May 15, 2007 at his home. Local funeral services will be 1:30 P.M. Monday, May 21, 2007 at St. John’s Lutheran Church in Webster, Rev. William Olsen officiating. Burial will be at Prairie Mound Cemetery, Butler. Visitation will be at Fiksdal Funeral Service in Webster on Sunday 5-7 P.M. and prior to services on Monday. Travis William Bakke was born on Saturday, October 5, 1968 to Gregory and Marie (Peterson) Bakke at Watertown, South Dakota. He was raised in Minneapolis and then in the Bethel, Minnesota area. He graduated from Coon Rapids High School with the class of 1987. He moved to the Isanti and Cambridge area in 1991 and was employed by Industries Incorporated. He enjoyed people and being with his family and friends. He also enjoyed going to camp, music, dancing and motorcycling. Travis passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday, May 15, 2007 at his home in Cambridge, Minnesota at the age of 38 years, 7 months and 10 days. Survivors include his mother, Marie Bakke of St. Francis, MN; his father, Gregory Bakke of Webster, SD; one brother Trever Bakke of Andover, MN; his grandmothers, Pat Peterson of Bristol, SD and Jean Bakke of Webster, SD; a niece, Madeline Bakke of Anoka, MN; his extended family, Jeff and Kathleen Sharbono of Cambridge, MN and their children, Mackenzie, Justin (Rebecca), and Jacob Sharbono of Cambridge, MN; Ruis and Beth Peterson of Cambridge, MN; and by many other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his grandfathers.
