Shane Garrett Sigdestad was born on July 20, 1977 to Scott and Shawn (McKane) Sigdestad in Webster, South Dakota. He was baptized and confirmed at Bergen Lutheran Church. When he was a child, Shane spent a lot of time with his Grandpa Jim and Grandma Louise camping, learning, and working on cars, which is where his passion for cars and mechanics began. He attended Bristol school and graduated from Bristol High School. After high school he worked with his father Scott doing agriculture spraying and driving truck. He had a tire shop in Webster for a short time and most recently worked in construction. He proudly took on fatherhood to his adored children, Gage, Chase, Taylin, and Ella. Shane had a great talent for automotive mechanical work and enjoyed working on cars. He also enjoyed fishing, reading, and working with his hands. Shane was a loving father, son, and brother and family was most important to him. He cherished making memories with his family and many friends. He had a heart of gold and would help anyone in need for any reason. He was wise beyond his years and could bring a smile to your face and make you laugh no matter what you were going though. His faith in God was extraordinary. God was his rock and his strength. Shane was sadly taken to his Heavenly Home August 5, 2020 at the age of 43 years and 16 days.
