Ruth Lunsford

WEBSTER- Ruth Lunsford, 73 of Webster died on Tuesday, December 05, 2006 at Bethesda Home in Webster. Private graveside services will be held at Barker Cemetery near Bloomfield, Iowa. Fiksdal Funeral Service of Webster is in charge of the arrangements. Ruth Redmon was born on September 15, 1933 at Bloomfield, Iowa. She attended school in Bloomfield and graduated from high school in 1952. After she received her education she worked at the Bloomfield Hospital. In 1959 she married Robert Owings at Bloomfield where they made their home. The couple later divorced. In 1970 she married Wayne Lunsford in Decatur, Illinois. The couple made their home in Decatur. Mr. Lunsford passed away in 1992. After his death Ruth moved to Webster where she has lived since. Survivors include two brothers, William (Betty) Redmon of Bloomfield, IA and Ben (Carol) Redmon of Ottumwa, IA; and two sisters, Reva Rupe of Ottumwa, IA and Sue (George) Wehner of Moweaqua, IL. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband and two brothers.
