Fiksdal Funeral Service of Webster is in charge of the following funeral arrangements: Webster- Rose Rauchwarter, 88, of Webster, died on Sunday, April 06, 2008 at the Bethesda Home in Webster. Mass of Christian Burial will be at 10:30 A.M. Thursday, April 10, 2008 at Christ The King Catholic Church in Webster with burial at St. Otto’s Cemetery. Visitation will be at Fiksdal Funeral Service in Webster on Wednesday, 2-4 P.M. then continuing at the church until 8 P.M. with a 7:30 P.M. Rosary Service. Rose Ann Sinderman was born on Thursday, July 3, 1919 to Xavier and Lena (Biebel) Sinderman at Grey Eagle Township in Todd County, Minnesota. She was baptized and confirmed at St. Francis Church and attended country school near her home. She worked for families doing housework and caring for children. In 1938 she moved to Sisseton where she continued working for families. On June 1, 1939 she married Michael Rauchwarter at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Eden, South Dakota. After their marriage the couple made their home and farmed in Nutley Township, Day County near Eden. In 1955 they moved to Webster. She cared for her grandchildren, but didn’t work outside the home. Mr. Rauchwarter passed away in April 1985. After his death she continued to live in her own apartment in Webster. In early 1992 she entered Colonial Manor in Groton and later that same year moved to Bethesda Home in Webster where she has resided since. She was a member of Christ The King Catholic Church in Webster where she had been active in the Church Altar Society. Rose passed away on Sunday, April 6, 2008 at Webster, South Dakota at the age of 88 years, 9 months and 3 days. Survivors include one daughter, Marcella (Donald) Grosek of Webster, SD; five brothers, Elmer (Lucille) Sinderman of Melrose, MN, Frank (Gerry) Sinderman of Little Falls, MN, Larry (Phyllis) Sinderman of Eagan, MN, Victor (Bev) Sinderman and Nicky (Gerry) Sinderman both of St. Paul, MN; one sister, Rita (Richard) Tye of Richfield, MN; three grandchildren, four great grandchildren and three great-great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, three brothers and three sisters.
