Robbin Carlson

BRISTOL – Robbin Carlson 54 of Bristol passed away Thursday July 13, 2017 at her home in Bristol. Her funeral will be 2:00 P.M. Friday July 21, 2017 at Bethesda Lutheran Church in Bristol, Rev. Bill Duncan will officiate. Visitation will be 5-7 P.M. Thursday at Fiksdal Funeral Service. Robbin Kay Tallman was born on September 23, 1962 to Richard and Cindy Tallman at Wichita, Kansas. As a young child, the family moved to California. Robbin’s mother passed away at a young age leaving Robbin and her father to care for her younger siblings. Robbin graduated high school at Quartz Hill, California. After graduation, she worked as a Certified Nursing Assistant. On March 31, 1990, she married Steven Carlson. The couple made their home in Bristol, South Dakota along with their son Jack. Robbin attended Lake Area Technical Institute to obtain her LPN degree. She worked in the healthcare industry for 30 years. Robbin enjoyed reading, gardening, riding motorcycle, and spending time with her family and friends. She was a member at Bethesda Lutheran Church where she taught Sunday school and assisted in other church events over the years. Robbin passed away Thursday July 13, 2017 at Bristol, South Dakota at the age of 54 years, 9 months, and 20 days. She will be greatly missed by her husband Steven Carlson, one son Jack Carlson, her father Richard Tallman, her mother-in-law Candace Carlson, four brothers, Eric, Aaron, Carl, and Brian, four sisters, Liz, Kim, Tina, and Tammy. She was preceded in death by her mother, Cindy Tallman and her father-in-law Gary Carlson.
