Robbie Pulfrey, 48 of Aberdeen died on Thursday, August 11, 2011 at Avera St. Lukes Hospital in Aberdeen.
Memorial services will be at 10:00 A.M. Wednesday, August 17, 2011 at Fiksdal Funeral Chapel in Webster. Curtis White will officiate. Inurnment will be at Fron Lutheran Cemetery near Roslyn.
Robbie Lee Pulfrey was born on Thursday, June 27, 1963 to Darrell and Ruth (Lewer) Pulfrey at Aberdeen, South Dakota. He attended public school in Aberdeen and then, in the early 1970s he moved with his mother and family to the Roslyn area, and attended school in Roslyn. Robbie attended a vocational school in Sheldon, Iowa and then returned to the farm to help out.
He moved south to work constructing electrical poles and then moved to New Jersey to become a brick layer and carpentry work. In 1990 he moved to Aberdeen where he worked in construction. He retired due to health reasons.
Robbie enjoyed fishing, setting puzzles, crosswords, construction work and keeping his nieces on their toes. He was very helpful to his family and friends.
Robbie passed away on Thursday, August 11, 2011 at Aberdeen, South Dakota at the age of 48 years, one month and 15 days.
He is survived by his mother, Ruth Sattler of Roslyn, SD; two brothers, Terry Sattler of Roslyn, SD and Billy Sattler of Lemmon, SD; and a sister, Buffie Schuster of Cayuga, ND. He was preceded in death by his father, step-father, one sister and one nephew.
