I knew my time on earth would someday come to an end, well, it has! I died on Thursday, April 3, 2025. Yes, my new adventure has begun. My life on earth had a few bumps, but overall, a very good life.
Left to survive me are my son Jonathan, grandson Matthew and granddaughter Ella, brothers; David, Stan, Joel, Duane, and sisters; Janice, Dianne, Emily, Carol, Mary Ellen, Susan and their spouses.
Going before me was my wife, Kathy at the young age of 45, my parents Stanley and Amelia (Rumpza) and many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. When I died, I was 84 years old. I still had a few good years left, but that’s life! If I had to leave one word with you, it would be “Volunteer.”
My greatest joy was working at the Roslyn International Vinegar Museum. I also belonged to the Rotary club, Chamber of Commerce, Roslyn Rest home, Roslyn Alumni Board, St Joseph’s Catholic Church board, and many others. I wish I had been more effective on some, but I hope I did even a little good on all.
Until we meet again, Dick
