Lynn B. Holscher

Lynn B. Holscher, 63, of Milbank and formerly of Waubay passed away Thursday December 3, 2020 at Avantara Care Center in Milbank. Private family services will be held 2 P.M. Thursday December 10, 2020 and will be livestreamed on Fiksdal Funeral service Facebook page. Public burial will follow at 3 P.M. at Lakewood Cemetery near Waubay. All friends and family are welcome at the cemetery. Lynn Bruce Holscher was born to LaVern and Bernice (Richardt) Holscher on June 24, 1957 at Webster, South Dakota. He was baptized and confirmed at Zion Lutheran Church in Waubay. He attended Waubay School and graduated in 1978. Growing up on the farm, he was always willing to help with any task given to him. After he completed his education, he continued to live with his parents and helped with the family business B&L Eatery in Waubay. After his father passed in 1985, Lynn continued to live with Bernice until her passing in 2008. Lynn made his home at Park Place Assisted Living in Milbank wher ehe made many friends. He was a social butterfly who made friends wherever he went. Lynn was a lifelong member of Zion Lutheran Church in Waubay. He enjoyed playing cards, puzzels, BINGO, and above all else, he loved time spent with his family. Lynn passed away Thursday December 3, 2020 at Milbank, South Dakota at the age of 63 years, 5 months, and 9 days. He will be forever loved and greatly missed by his siblings; Neil (Lynn) Holscher, Kerry (Brenda) Holscher both of Waubay, Loren (Karen) Holscher of Twin Brooks, SD, Keith (Pam) Holscher of Bismarck, ND, and Shirleen Dahl of Marion, KY. He is also survived by many neices, nephews, and many friends.
