Linda Mary Schoenbeck

Linda Mary Schoenbeck, 59 daughter of the late Leo and Lauretta Schoenbeck died Saturday March 16, 2013 at Advance Group Home in Brookings. Mass of Christian Burial will be 10:30 A.M. Friday March 22, 2013 at Christ the King Catholic Church in Webster. Spring inurnment will be in St. Ottos Catholic Cemetery. Visitation will be Thursday 6 – 8 P.M. with a 7 P.M. Rosary Service at the church. Linda Mary Schoenbeck was born a special child of God on August 15, 1953 at Webster, South Dakota. She was baptized at St. Ottos Catholic Church. Her younger years were spent with her family in Webster, South Dakota. She moved to a home in Redfield, SD where she lived for 28 years. The last 24 years she made her home in Brookings, South Dakota with Advance. The last 14 years she lived at her home at 905 where she blossomed and enjoyed a fulfilling life. She enjoyed going for walks, camping, concerts, country music, going shopping and spending time with family and friends. Linda is survived by three brothers, Lee (Donna) Schoenbeck of Watertown, SD, Larry (Tracy Robinson) Schoenbeck of Harrisburg, SD and Loren (Lisa) Schoenbeck of Webster, SD, four sisters, Lois (Joe) Mattecheck and Laura (Bob) Donat both of Sioux Falls, SD, Lila (Randy) Bauer of Luverne, Minnesota and Lynette (Darrel) Mcfarland of Selby, SD: Many nieces and nephews, and her many friends at 905. She was preceded in death by her parents Leo and Lauretta Schoenbeck.
