Linda Ludtke

WEBSTER- Linda Ludtke, 61 of Webster died on Monday, October 12, 2009 at her home. Fiksdal Funeral Service (fiksdalfuneral.com) is in charge of the arrangements. Linda Jane Aldous was born on Monday, December 8, 1947 to Lloyd and Mary Helen (Myers) Aldous at Lemmon, South Dakota. She was baptized in the Lutheran Faith in Lemmon and later confirmed at Bethlehem Lutheran Church in Aberdeen. In 1948 the family moved to Aberdeen where she began school, later graduating from Central High School. After graduation she attended Northern State College in Aberdeen. In 1968 she moved to Webster and was employed at The Galley supper club. On September 23, 1978 she married Rolfe Ludtke at Webster. After their marriage the couple made their home in Webster. In 1986 she began working for the City of Webster where she was the manager of the liquor store, a position she presently held. She was a member of St. John’s Lutheran Church in Webster. She enjoyed reading and crosswords. Linda passed away on Monday, October 12, 2009 at her home in Webster, South Dakota at the age of 61 years, 10 months and 4 days. Survivors include her husband, Rolfe Ludtke of Webster; one son, Paul Daly of Virginia, MN; and a sister, Paula (George) Howell of Sumter, SC. She was preceded in death by her parents and a brother, William.
