Kathy (Ingalls) Wojdlak, 50, of Livingston, Montana and formerly of Webster, passed away at Aberdeen Tuesday, August 16, 2022.
Funeral services honoring the life of Kathy and her father, Larry will be 1:00 P.M. Saturday August 27, 2022 at Westside Wesleyan Church in Bristol. Burial will be in the Webster Cemetery.
Visitation will be Friday 5-7 P.M. at the funeral home.
Kathryn "Kathy" Kay (Ingalls) Wojdylak of Livingston, MT was born January 31, 1972 to Larry and Jan (Haisch) Ingalls in Webster, SD. She was baptized at United Methodist Church in Webster, and was active at Westside Wesleyan Church in Bristol, SD, throughout her youth. Kathy graduated from Webster High School in 1990 where she was active in sports and other extracurricular activities. After high school she attended North Dakota State College of Science in Wahpeton, ND, earning her Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) degree in 1993. Following graduation, she moved to Livingston, MT where over the next 29 years she worked as a COTA in the local nursing home and a private clinic. She also worked in medical records at the nursing home in Livingston for several years Kathy was a member of First Baptist Church in Livingston where she was baptized as an adult. Kathy was a caring, loving mother who always put her children first and supported them in their various activities and endeavors. To say she was proud of them is an understatement. She brought her kids back to Webster nearly every summer for an extended visit where they enjoyed time with Grandpa and Grandma Ingalls, cousin birthday parties and visiting extended family. On January 1, 2019, Kathy married the love of her life, Michael Wojdylak in Livingston. They enjoyed hiking, cooking together, and their travels to Costa Rica, Florida and Hawaii. She also found joy in working out, long walks, white water rafting on the river, time at her sister's lake cabin, and visiting her family in South Dakota and Minnesota. She was notorious for eating oyster crackers, dill pickles, crazy healthy salad concoctions, and chewing Dubble Bubble chewing gum. She will be remembered for her spitfire personality, beautiful smile and infectious laugh and giggle. Kathy passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday, August 16, 2022, at the age of 50. Grateful for sharing her life are her husband Michael Wojdylak, Livingston; her children, daughter Samantha Jacobsen, Baltimore, MD, sons Dustin Jacobsen and Matt Jacobsen, Livingston, two step-children Devin Wojdylak and Dahlia Black, Livingston; parents Larry and Jan Ingalls, Webster; sisters Pam (Gary) Bruns, Montevideo MN, Kim (Luke) Holzwarth, Hazel, SD, brother Dave (Brenda) Ingalls, Watertown, SD; father-in-law David (Vicki) Wojdylak, and mother-in-law Toni (Chooch) Meixner; sisters-in-law Lisa Green and Dana Nothstein; aunts, uncles, nieces, and nephews. Preceding her in death were grandparents Lloyd and Marian (Mulford) Haisch, and Morris "Scotchy" and Mary Jane (Coye) Ingalls. Blessed be her beautiful memory.
