Jerome "Joe" Anderson

LANGFORD- Jerome “Joe” Anderson, 68 of Langford died on Sunday, April 23, 2006 at Lake Area Hospital in Webster. Memorial services will be at 11:00 A.M. Friday, April 28, 2006 at the United Methodist Church in Britton, Rev. Kris Mutzenberger officiating. Fiksdal Funeral Service of Webster is in charge of the arrangements. Jerome “Joe” Charles Anderson was born on March 19, 1938 to Chester and Vivian (Bratland) Anderson at Enderlin, North Dakota. He attended country school. In 1957 he graduated from Wahpeton State School of Science with a degree in auto body. In 1965 he married Diane (PennY Brown of Britton. The had a daughter, Kim. Joe was employed in auto body work, was shop foreman for Thorp Auto in Britton and worked at Groton Truck Center for a number of years. In 1997 he married Connie Cease. In 2000 the couple moved to Langford with their two children, Melissa and Brian. Joe passed away on Sunday, April 23, 2006 at Webster, South Dakota at the age of 68 years. He is survived by his wife, Connie of Langford, SD; three children, Kim (Jeff)White of Rapid City, SD, Melissa and Brian Anderson of Langford, SD; one grandson, Ben White of Rapid City, SD; and two brothers, Chet (Paulette) Anderson of Devils Lake, ND and Gerald (Anna) Anderson of Britton, SD. He was preceded in death by his parents and one sister.
