Grace Bratager, 86, widow of Francis Bratager, of Lake Havasu City, AZ and formerly of the southern Indiana area died on Thursday, March 1, 2018.
Graveside services will be at 10:30 A.M. Wednesday, May 23, 2018 at Bergen Lutheran Cemetery near Bristol.

Grace Marguerite Bratager was born on June 21, 1931 to Earl and Phyllis (Sloan) Holwager in Wirt, IN. She married Melvin Nicholson and to this union one child was born, Carol.
In 1964 she married, Francis “Brad” Bratager and the couple raised her daughter and his daughters, Deneise, Durene and Duania. The couple moved to Alaska in 1970 where they built two houses, gardened, fished and made a beautiful life for themselves and their family. After retirement the couple began traveling in the lower 48 while maintaining their home base in North Pole, Alaska. In 2001, they moved home base to Florida, followed by Montana in 2003, and finally Lake Havasu City, AZ in 2015.
Each of their final months were spent living with and being cared for by their granddaughter, Tracy Morsching, her husband, Brian, and their two youngest children, Nicholas and Brianna.
Survivors include: brother, John Sommerville, sister, Virginia Coates, daughters, Deneise Bratager of Bryan, TX, Durene (Neil) Silke of Pigeon, MI; six grandchildren, DeeDee Irick, Duane Morgan, Daniel Morgan, Jason Fredregill, Joshua (Jackie) Fredregill, and Tracy (Brian) Morsching; eight great grandchildren and five great great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, and two daughters, Duania and Carol.
