WEBSTER – Glen Loterbauer 88 of Webster passed away with his loving family at his side on Thursday August 1, 2019 at Bethesda Home in Webster.
Services will be10:30 A.M. Wednesday August 7, 019 at Fiksdal Funeral Service in Webster, Pastor Marion Grimes will officiate. Burial will be in the Webster Cemetery.

Glen Loterbauer was born on October 22, 1930 to Frank and Emma (Stern) Loterbauer at Crandall, South Dakota. He was baptized into the Lutheran Faith. He attended school in Lily where as an eighth grader he played on the varsity basketball team the Lily Wildcats. After his education, Glen began his lifelong career in farming. In 1946, the Loterbauer family moved to a farm in Troy Township west of Lily.
On October 21, 1951, he was united in marriage to love of his life, Jeanette Schulz at Bethesda Lutheran Church in Bristol. To this union a daughter Bonnie was born. The family made their home on the Loterbauer family farm where they were engaged in dairy farming as well as raising chickens and pigs. The couple remained on the farm for 45 years until 1996, when they retired from farming and moved into Webster. Bonnie along with her husband Steve and their son Heath took over the family farming operation.
Glen enjoyed hunting, fishing, and trapping. He was a true outdoorsman who loved the land. He cherished time spent with his family. He and his grandson Heath often shared fishing stories.
Glen passed away Thursday August 1, 2019 at Webster, South Dakota at the age of 88 years, 9 months, and 9 days.
He will be forever loved and greatly missed by his wife Jeanette of Webster, SD, daughter Bonnie (Steven) Headley of Lily, SD, and one grandson Heath (Chelsea) Headley of Glasgow, MT, one brother Bob (Rita) Loterbauer of Bristol, SD, as well as many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents and siblings; Donald, Rachel, Frances, Jim, Edward, Irene, Alice, Raymond, and Lester.
