MOLT, MT- Gayle Hagen, 57 of Molt, MT and formally of Webster and Aberdeen died unexpectedly on Thursday, May 24, 2007 at her home. Memorial services will be at 2:00 P.M. Saturday, June 2, 2007 at Fiksdal Funeral Chapel in Webster, Rev. John Hisel will officiate. Inurnment will be at Webster Cemetery. There will be no visitation. Fiksdal Funeral Service of Webster is in charge of the local arrangements. Gayle Hagen was born on November 23, 1949, at the Peabody Memorial Hospital in Webster, South Dakota to Harold and Dorothy (West) Hagen. She was baptized and confirmed at St. John’s Lutheran Church in Webster, SD. She attended Webster Public School and graduated in 1968. After high school graduation, she moved to the Aberdeen area and worked a few different retail jobs before being employed with Midcontinent Communications. Her job then transferred her to Sioux Falls, South Dakota. While in Sioux Falls she worked retail jobs and was an administrative employee and dispatcher for Midwest Coast Transportation. In 1986, she met her life long friend Paul Beauchamp. In 1997, they moved to Molt, MT, and she started as a temporary employee at First Interstate Bank in Billings, MT, and became Operations Manager. She oversaw several branches and 52 employees. She enjoyed crafting, calligraphy and cooking. She also enjoyed sharing special times with Paul and traveling to visit their many family and friends. Those who knew Gayle will always remember her contagious laughter, the beautiful handwriting, the unmatched creativity, but most importantly for the caring and loving person that she truly was. Gayle passed away on Thursday, May 24, 2007 unexpectedly at her home in Molt, Montana at the age of 57 years, 6 months and 5 days. She is survived by her long time friend, Paul Beauchamp of Molt, MT; four sisters and four brothers, Joyce Hagen of Woodbury, MN, Alyce (Mike) Kane, Kirkland, WA, Wayne (Olivia) Hagen, Trinidad, TX, Clyde (Tracy) Hagen, Sioux Falls, SD, Bryan (Mary) Hagen, Kenyon, MN, Layne (Elaine) Hagen, Webster, SD, Chyrl (Tom) Madsen, Overland Park, KS, and Gwynn Johnson, Stacy, MN; 14 nieces and nephews and eight great-nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents and grandparents.
