BRISTOL – Gary Pesall, 53 of Bristol passed away Sunday May 7, 2017 at his home in Bristol.
Mass of Christian Burial will be at 10:30 A.M. Thursday, May 11, 2017 at Christ The King Catholic Church in Webster, burial will be at St. Otto’s Cemetery.
Visitation will be at the funeral home on Wednesday 5-7 P.M. ending with a 7 P.M. Rosary. Fiksdalfuneral.com.
Gary Lee Pesall was born on February 21, 1964 to Gerald and Geraldine (Snaza) Pesall at Watertown, South Dakota. He was baptized at St. Anthony’s Catholic Church in Bristol and later confirmed at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church in Lily. He attended school in Webster and graduated from Webster High School in 1982.
After high school he farmed with his twin brother, Greg and his father south of Webster. In 1988 he moved to Huron where he lived and began a trucking company “Lone Wolf Trucking” where he was a livestock carrier and traveled all throughout the United States. In 2016 he moved to Bristol and because of failing health had to retire from trucking.
He enjoyed country music, decorating his truck and trailer and was a good dancer. He also loved his cats, Coon and Raccoon, which he referred to them as his children. He was always kind to the animals he hauled and made sure they had a comfortable ride to their destination.
Survivors include his parents, Jerry and Geraldine of Webster; one sister, Gwen (Kent) Anderson of Watertown, SD, his twin brother, Greg Pesall of Webster, SD; and several nieces, nephews and cousins. He was preceded in death by one sister, Gail Pesall and his grandparents.
