Frances (Pratt) Litz

Bristol – Frances (Pratt) Litz, 96, of Bristol and formerly of Webster passed away Sunday May 3, 2020 at Sun Dial Manor in Bristol. No formal services will be held. Condolences may be sent to Roy Pratt 42952 137th St. Webster, SD 57274 Frances Ruby Pratt was born on July 8, 1923 at Webster, South Dakota to Arthur and Alison (Edgar) Pratt. She grew up on the family farm northwest of Webster. She attended country school near her home and graduated from Webster High School. After high school she furthered her education in nursing at Mitchell Technical College. She then moved to Minneapolis, Minnesota. On June 1, 1978, she was united in marriage to Harold Litz. The couple made their home in Minneapolis and Frances worked for AT&T as a telephone operator for many years. Harold passed away in 2006. Frances moved back to Webster in 2009 and in 2015 she moved to Sun Dial Manor in Bristol. Frances enjoyed gardening and was active in her church in Minneapolis throughout the years. She is survived by one sister Shirley (Richard) Green of Hermantown, MN and one nephew Roy Pratt of Webster, SD. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, one brother Allan Pratt and one sister Ruth Sather.
