WEBSTER- Ervin Tvinnereim 82, of Webster died on Sunday, March 18, 2007, at Sun Dial Manor in Bristol. His funeral will be at 10:30 A.M. Friday, March 23, 2007 at Tabor Lutheran Church near Webster, Rev. Derek Kalkes officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery at a later date. Visitation will be at Fiksdal Funeral Service in Webster on Thursday 4-8 P.M. with a 7:00 P.M. Prayer service. Visitation will continue on Friday at the church. Ervin Carlyle Tvinnereim was born on Wednesday, December 25, 1924 to Ben and Lena (Skor) Tvinnereim at the family home in Lynn Township, Day County, South Dakota northwest of Webster. He was baptized and confirmed at Tabor Lutheran Church. He attended rural school near his home and graduated from Webster High School in 1943. On February 2, 1947 he married Una Holland at Falnes Lutheran Church near Langford, South Dakota. After their marriage the couple made their home and farmed in Lynn Township. He semi-retired from farming in 1987. He also engaged in carpentry, building many homes in the area and he worked for Jake Dedrickson Construction for many years. He was a life-long active member of Tabor Lutheran Church where he served on the church council as Trustee and Treasurer. He served as Lynn Township Supervisor, was a member of Sons of Norway and Day County Farm Bureau. Ervin also served on the Webster School Board where he was President from 1979-1980. He was an avid supporter of the High School wrestling and music programs and never missed a wrestling match or music concert while his children were involved. Ervin passed away on Sunday, March 18, 2007 at Bristol, South Dakota at the age of 82 years, 3 months and 24 days. Survivors include his wife of 60 years, Una of Webster; six children, Diane (Loren) Golden, LeeAnn Tvinnereim, Paul (Kris) Tvinnereim, Kevin Tvinnereim and Alan Tvinnereim all of Webster, SD and Shirley Hartman of Rapid City, SD; seven grandchildren, Angela (Paul) Rasmussen, Deidra (Joe) Zubke, Eric (Barb) Tvinnereim, Aaron Tvinnereim, Candice Tvinnereim, Derek Tvinnereim and Megan Tvinnereim; six great grandchildren; one brother, Donald (Winefred) Tvinnereim of Webster; and a sister, Beverly (Ed) Nizielski of Minneapolis, MN. He was preceded in death by his parents, four sisters, Selma, Mabel, Sylvia and Loretta, six brothers, Andrew, Clifford, Reuben, Bennie, Arnold and Lester, and a grandson, Grant Golden.
