Errol Farmen

CMSgt Errol T. Farmen, USAF Retired, passed away August 21, 2022, at the age of 79.

Funeral Services will be 10:30 A.M. Monday August 29, 2022 at Fron Lutheran Church near Roslyn. Military interment will be in the church cemetery, with honors provided by Ellsworth Honor Guard.

Visitation will be 12-2 P.M. Sunday at the funeral home closing with a prayer service at 1:45.

Errol was born in Webster, South Dakota on March 2^nd, 1943, to Maurice and Clara (Hansen) Farmen. Errol joined the United States Air Force in 1961. He served honorably, retiring in 1988, after reaching the rank of Chief Master Sergeant, Errol met and later married the loved of his life Beverly Dilts, in 1963.

Errol loved his country, but he was always a loving Father, Grandfather, and great-grandfather. This could be seen in the way he spent time teaching and passing his skills of softball, bowling, golf, hunting, and woodworking to his children and grandchildren. In his later years, he spent time enjoying bingo with his daughter and his wife.

Errol was preceded in death by his parents Maurice and Clara (Hanson) Farmen; two sisters, Maureen (Farmen) Holler, and Alice (Farmen) Morehouse; and three brothers, Clayton Farmen, David Farmen, and Calvin Farmen. He is survived by his wife Beverly (Dilts) Farmen of Midwest City, OK, their six children, April (Jose) De La Rosa of Midwest City, OK, Annette (Dale) Helm of Mitchell, SD, Dale (Lesley) Farmen of Pierre, SD, Eric (Wendy) Farmen of Spokane, WA, Jason Moore of Bath, ME, and Kimberly (AJ) Szadek of Wake Forest, NC, one sister Judy Schaunaman of Roslyn, SD, and Keith Farmen of Redfield, SD, 14 grandchildren, and 12 great-grandchildren.
