Douglas Millim, 42 of Rogers, MN and formerly of Webster died on Saturday, November 12, 2011 at his home in Rogers. His funeral will be 10:30 A.M. Thursday November 17, 2011 at Tabor Lutheran Church north of Webster. Burial will be in the church cemetery. Visitation will be 5 -7 P.M Wednesday with a prayer service at 7 P.M. Douglas Arnold Millim was born on Wednesday, October 15, 1969 to Roger and Lavonne (Tvinnereim) Millim at Webster, South Dakota. He was baptized at Tabor Lutheran Church near Webster. He attended and graduated from Webster High School in 1988. After high school he attended the Association Free Lutheran Bible School in Plymouth, Minnesota for two years, then attended Northwestern College in Roseville for three years and then moved to Aberdeen where he attended Northern State University and worked part-time at Target. His job at Target became a full time job as a security technician and later transferred to Minneapolis. In 1999 worked at the Downtown Marriot Hotel as the Special Event Director. In 2002 he began working for Bigos Management as a part-time Leasing Agent and then became Property Manager in Golden Valley at their Mallard Creek property, in 2005 he became an assistant Compliance Training Officer in the companies corporate office in Edina. In 2006 he became Property Manager at Mallard Ridge in Maple Grove. In 2010 he moved to Rogers, Minnesota but continued to manage the Mallard Ridge property. Doug and his property were nominated for a MADACS Award, a Property Management Industry Award in the Minneapolis area. Douglas enjoyed cars, gardening, landscaping, interior design, cooking and antiques. Douglas passed away on Saturday, November 12, 2011 at his home in Rogers, Minnesota at the age of 42 years and 28 days. Survivors include his parents, Roger and Lavonne Millim of Webster, SD; and a brother, Jonathan Millim of Brookings, SD. He was preceded in death by his grandparents.
