Dianne Bloom, 61 of Webster died Sunday March 20, 2011 at Bethesda Home in Webster. Her funeral will be 2:00 P.M. Thursday March 24, 2011 at United Methodist Church in Webster, Rev. John Hisel will officiate. Burial will be in the Webster Cemetery. Visitation will be 5 8 P.M. on Wednesday at Fiksdal Funeral Service in Webster.Dianne Lynn Jutting was born on June 6, 1949 to Melvin and Beatrice (Benninga) Jutting at Watertown, South Dakota. She was baptized at the United Brotheran Church in Watertown and confirmed at the United Methodist Church in Webster, South Dakota. She attended school in Watertown until the second grade when her family moved to Madison, South Dakota. She went to school until the end of her seventh grade year when the family moved to Webster. She graduated from Webster High School in 1967. After graduation she attended Watertown Business University in Watertown.On July 27, 1968 she married Donnie Bloom at the United Methodist Church in Webster. The couple then moved to Cookstown, New Jersey and returned to Webster in 1970. At that time Dianne was a bookkeeper for Loraines House of Beauty in Webster until 1973, when she became a stay at home mom and also did secretarial work for the Methodist church. In 1983, she started driving bus for the Webster Community Transit where shewas presently employed.She was a member of the United Methodist Church where she was on the Mission Committee, Altar Guild and taught Sunday School. She also was a member of the American Legion Auxiliary where she served three terms as president, she was a Girl Scout leader, and was score keeper for the Webster Clay Bird Club since 2004. She enjoyed reading, puzzles, games, cooking, baking, knitting, needle point, crocheting, camping, and she especially loved spoiling her three granddaughters. Dianne passed away Sunday March 20, 2011 at Webster, South Dakota at the age of 61 years, 9 months, and 14 days. She is survived by her mother, Beatrice Wik of Webster, SD, her husband Donnie for 42 years of Webster, SD, one son DeWayne (Nicole) Bloom of Webster, SD, one daughter KayLynn (Steven) Bren of Mitchell, SD, three sisters, Gloria Nilson and Phyllis (Marv) Strom both of Brookings, SD, and Connie (Gary) Sauer of Webster, SD, one sister-in-law Janet Johnson of Avon, SD, and three granddaughters, Samantha, Hanna, and Savanna. She was preceded in death by her father and one infant son.
