Dennis H. Reiprich, 79, of Webster, passed away Sunday, November 12, 2023 at Sun Dial Manor in Bristol.
Visitation will be 5-7 P.M. Friday, November 17, 2023 at the funeral home, closing with a 7 P.M. prayer service.
Private military burial will take place at the Webster Cemetery.
Dennis Herbert Reiprich was born on September 6, 1944, to Herbert and Rose (Bollinger) Reiprich at Peabody Hospital in Webster, South Dakota. He was baptized and confirmed at American Lutheran Church in Webster. Dennis attended grade school in Rusk Township and then attended Webster High School, graduating in 1962. After high school, he joined the South Dakota National Guard and farmed alongside his father and his brothers.
On March 26, 1977, he was united in marriage to Anita Borgheiinck at St. John’s Lutheran Church in Webster. To this union two children were born, Susan and Michael. The family made their home near Webster. Dennis continued to farm the family farmland southwest of Webster.
Dennis enjoyed hunting, fishing, trap shooting, and bowling. He also enjoyed coin collecting and woodworking. He was known for his intricate woodworking skills making doll cribs, toy boxes, games, and puzzles. He was a man of many stories and could put a smile on anyone’s face.
Dennis passed away Sunday, November 12, 2023, at Bristol, South Dakota at the age of 79 years, 2 months, and 6 days.
He will forever be loved by his children, Susan (Chad) Simon of Tea, SD, Michael (Dana) Reiprich of Summerset, SD, and their mother, Anita Reiprich of Webster, SD. He is also survived by his stepdaughter Cathy (Jerit) Heinz of Aberdeen, SD, stepson-in-law Jim Rohl of Aberdeen, SD, eight grandchildren, Connor, Collin, Robbie, Ashley, Olivia, Brayden, Hannah, and Levi, two brothers, Fred Reiprich of Webster, SD, and Loren (Deb) Reiprich of Webster, SD. He was preceded by his parents, stepdaughter Sandra Zubke-Rohl, sister Janice Koppe, and sister-in-law Kathy Reiprich.
