Dennis Engebritson

Dennis Engebritson, 84, of Roslyn and formerly of Sioux Falls, SD, passed away on Monday, November 8, 2021, at Strand Kjorsvig Nursing Home in Roslyn. Dennis’s wishes were that there be no formal services. Dennis Dean Engebritson was born on September 20, 1937, to Clifford and Rose (Monson) Engebritson in Webster, South Dakota. He was baptized and confirmed into the Lutheran faith. Dennis attended Webster High School and graduated. After his education he enlisted into the United States National Guard on March 19, 1956 and was honorably discharged on March 18, 1959. Dennis lived in Sioux Falls for many years where he worked as a truck driver, a warehouse worker and at gas station. Dennis retired in 2000. He moved to Strand-Kjorsvig Living Center in Roslyn, South Dakota in 2017. He enjoyed spending time outdoors and loved to go hunting and fishing. He is survived by his sister, Sandra Christianson of Sioux Falls, SD and niece, DeeAnn Wise of Sioux Falls, SD. He is preceded in death by his parents.
