David Robertson

David Robertson, 55 of Waubay died on Thursday, June 28, 2018 at his home in Waubay. No services will be held at this time. David Chaske Robertson was born on May 2, 1963 to Rev. Wilbert and Judith (Ray) Robertson at Eglin Air Force Base, Florida. He was baptized at Dakota Baptist Church at Fr. Totten, North Dakota. He attended school in the places his father was stationed in the service and he graduated from Sisseton high school in 1981. In 1984 he entered the North Dakota National Guard at Devils Lake. He lived at Ft. Totten where he was employed by Sioux Manufacturing, was a Tribal Police Dispatcher, a semi-truck mechanic and also was a handy man around the area. On March 3, 2005 he was united in marriage to Martha Littlewind at the Dakota Baptist Church in Ft. Totten. The continued to live there and he continued as a mechanic. She passed away in 2013. In 2014 he moved to Waubay where his parent resided. He was a member of Bethany Baptist Church at Enemy Swim. Survivors include his parents, Rev. Wilbert and Judith Robertson of Waubay; two sisters, Linda (Scott) Miller of Maryland and Ruth (Delbert) Hopkins of Sisseton, SD; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his wife.
