Cynthia "Cindy" Huwe

WEBSTER – Cynthia “Cindy” Huwe 55 of Webster passed away Friday August 10, 2018 at Sanford Hospital Webster. Memorial services will be held 2:00 P.M. Friday August 24, 2018 at the United Methodist Church in Webster. Rev. Ken Ballard will officiate. Inurnment will be at Prairie Mound Cemetery near Butler. Memorial visitation will be Thursday 5-7 P.M. at Fiksdal Funeral Service in Webster. Fiksdalfuneral.com Cynthia Kay McElmury was born in Hazen, North Dakota to Richard & Audrey (Albers) McElmury on Nov 28, 1962. She graduated from Bowman, North Dakota High School in 1981. She worked in Phoenix, Arizona and married Michael Williams. Cindy & her 2 daughters returned to North Dakota She then attended Dickinson State College and graduated from Presentation College in Aberdeen, South Dakota earning her Registered Nurse degree. She married Darold Huwe on July 18, 1998 at Bethesda Lutheran Church in Bristol. Darold adopted her two daughters. Darrel died in 2006. She had not worked for health reasons for several years. She is survived by two daughters, Keshia Huwe of Webster, SD and Serena (Cody) Kuecker of Watertown, SD; her father, Dick McElmury of Bowman, ND; two brothers, Scott (Renita) McElmury of Bennington, NE and Jim (Cara) McElmury of Ottumwa, IA; four grandchildren, Mason, Kiyan, Ava and Cullen; and a close friend, Pat Roth of Webster, SD. She was preceded in death by her mother and husband.
