Craig Richardt, 61, Spokane Valley, WA died on September 28, 2024 as a result of an automobile accident. 

His funeral will be at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, October 26, 2024 at Fiksdal Funeral Service in Webster, Rev. Janet Miller will officiate. Burial will be at Ortley Cemetery, Ortley.

Visitation will be at the funeral home on Friday 5-7 P.M.

Craig Ervin Richardt was born on March 2, 1963, to Maurice and Norma (Leimkuhl) Richardt at Webster, South Dakota. The family lived at Waubay. He was baptized shortly after birth at the Peabody Hospital in Webster and later confirmed at Zion Evangelical Lutheran Church in Waubay. He attended school and graduated from Waubay High School in 1981. After he received his education, he entered the U. S. Armed Forces in August 1983 and served in the Air Force. During his service time he received numerous Decorations and Citations such as the Meritorious Service Medal, Air Force Commendation Medal, Air Force Achievement Medal, Outstanding Unit Award, National Defense Service Medal plus many others. He retired from the service at Fairchild Air Force Base, Washington in September 2009 at the rank of Master Sergeant. After retirement he made his home in Spokane Valley, Washington. In 2010 he began working for Access where he delivered medical records. His hobbies include spending time with his grandchildren and riding his motorcycle. He was an avid fan of the Los Angeles Lakers and the Minnesota Vikings.

Craig died on Saturday, September 28, 2024, near Spokane Valley, Washington at the age of 61 years, 7 months and 26 days.

Survivors include one daughter, Jessica Kendall, one son, Nathan Kendall both of Spokane Valley, WA; two sisters, Dawn Richardt of Aberdeen, SD and Kim Richardt of Sioux Falls, SD; four grandchildren, Talon, Owen, Cole and Oakley, one niece, Kayla Richardt of Sioux Fall, SD and one nephew, Dan Richardt of Aberdeen, SD. He was preceded in death by his parents.
