WEBSTER - Cynthia (Cindy) Reese 47, of Webster, died on Friday, June 6, 2008 at her home. Memorial Services will be at 2:00 P.M. on Wednesday, June 11, 2008 at the United Methodist Church in Webster, Dr. John Hisel officiating. Inurnment will be at the Roslyn Lutheran Cemetery near Roslyn. Visitation will be Tuesday 5-7 P.M. at Fiksdal Funeral Service in Webster to sign the register book. On Friday, September 9, 1960 Cindy entered this world and began life’s journey. She was the daughter of James and Barbara (Ronshaugen) Hagen. Two brother, Scott and Kent were companions on this journey. She was baptized and confirmed at Roslyn Lutheran Church. She attended Webster Public School and graduated with the class of 1978. Wedding bells rang on October 2, 1982 for Cindy and Sam at the Roslyn Lutheran Church. They celebrated 25 years together in October 2007. They were blessed with the birth of a daughter, Amanda in 1989. Cindy had been employed at A & W for 25 years. She loved the outdoors, a weekend at “Hagen’s Holiday” on Enemy Swim Lake and just doing things with Sam and Amanda. Cindy passed away on Friday, June 6, 2008 at her home in Webster, South Dakota at the age of 47 years, 8 months and 27 days. She will be greatly missed by her partner in life, Sam of Webster; her daughter Amanda Reese of Webster, SD; her parents, Jim and Barb Hagen of Webster, SD; two brothers, Scott (Robi) Hagen of Aberdeen, SD and Kent (Jean) Hagen of Watertown, SD; her mother-in-law, Norma Reese of Aberdeen, SD; and nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins. She was prededed in death by her grandparents.
