Angeline Hatle

WEBSTER- Angeline Hatle, 72 of Webster died on Saturday, April 26, 2008 at Sanford Hospital in Sioux Falls, SD. Her funeral will be at 2:00 P.M. Wednesday, April 30, 2008 at Fiksdal Funeral Chapel in Webster, Rev. Jan FitzGibbon officiating. Burial will be in the Webster Cemetery. Visitation will be at Fiksdal Funeral Service in Webster on Tuesday, 4-7 P.M. and prior to the services on Wednesday. Angeline Paula Houde was born on Wednesday, April 1, 1936 to Ernest and Clara (Anderson) Houde at the Peabody Hospital in Webster, South Dakota. She attended Catholic grade school in Webster and the Webster High School. She was re-baptized into the Lutheran faith shortly before she married John Hatle. They were married on December 3, 1954 at St. John’s Lutheran Church in Webster. Their daughter; Roberta was born in 1955. In 1956, the couple moved to Minneapolis, Minnesota. Their son; Timothy James was born the same year. Angeline returned to Webster in 1990, and John returned in 1991, when he retired. The couple then moved into Angeline’s mother’s home where they have lived since. Angeline did volunteer work for R.S.V.P. and worked at Needs Anonymous at their last two locations. She liked to crochet, knit, and work crossword puzzles. She attended Catholic church during her grade school years, and St. John’s Lutheran Church during her High School years. Angeline passed away on Saturday, April 26, 2008 at Sioux Falls, South Dakota at the age of 72 years and 25 days. Survivors include her husband; John of Webster, SD, one son, Timothy James (Becky) Hatle of Princeton, MN, one daughter, Roberta Helmbecht of Benson, MN, one sister, Chantel (Eugene) Sebek of Claire City, SD, four grandchildren, and three great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents.
