Mass of Christian Burial will be at 10:00 A.M. Monday at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church in Grenville with burial in the church cemetery. Visitation will be 6-8 P.M. Sunday at the church with a 7:00 P.M. Scriptural Prayer service. Visitation will continue Monday prior to services. Fiksdal Funeral Service of Webster is in charge of the arrangements. Andrew James Snaza was born on Wednesday, January 4, 1984 to Joel and Adeline (Ehlebracht) Snaza at Aberdeen, South Dakota. The family made their home in Roslyn. He was baptized at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church in Grenville and later confirmed at St. Lawrence Catholic Church in Milbank. He attended elementary school in Roslyn and in 1998 the family moved to Milbank where he attended high school through his junior year. He then graduated from Roslyn High school in 2002 and spent a year at Northern State University in Aberdeen. He worked at various construction jobs in the local area. Last year he worked construction in New Orleans. He currently made his home in Moorhead, Minnesota where he worked construction in the Fargo-Moorhead area. In high school he played football and was a part of the Roslyn team that captured the South Dakota State Football Championship in their division when he was a senior. He loved the outdoors and loved to hunt, fish and be with his friends. He watched sports on the television and followed the Dallas Cowboys. He also followed college basketball and football. Andy passed away on Saturday, October 7, 2006 near Roslyn, South Dakota at the age of 22 years, 9 months and 3 days. Survivors include his parents, Joel Snaza of Milbank, SD and Adeline (Charlie) Mork of Bellingham, MN; one brother, Lydel (Tanya) Snaza of Webster, SD; one sister, Sheila Snaza of Odessa, MN; two step-brothers, Craig and Darren Mork of Bellingham, MN; his maternal grandmothers, Rachel Ehlebracht of Webster, SD and Amelia Snaza of Roslyn, SD. He was preceded in death by both his grandfathers and one brother, Michael.
